I was walking (off the track of course) along a cliff in the Grosse Valley in the Blue Mountains and right there in a tree beneath the cliff was this eagle with her chick. How amazing. And she just sat there. I was stunned. Not only was I able to use the Canon but she allowed me to sit and make a few sketches. She barely moved. This is not a photographic representation of the bird but a composite of the photos and sketches and a little artistic license.
